St. Joseph Catholic Church has been serving the community of Rockdale, Texas, for 141 years.
The Need
The local Parish underwent a restructure in the administration of the church. With a fresh perspective, the Priest had the vision of organizing and updating all public-facing collateral.
The bulletin was the priority to be refreshed. The public asset is made up of intricate information and had been created by an application that couldn’t accommodate an extensive layout structure. Important information was overlooked and the majority of the community are Spanish speakers who wanted to be informed of everything that was happening in the Parish.
Organization Is Key
The St. Joseph Catholic Church bulletin has a structure of a newspaper. The information is placed within a grid that promotes readable content and allows the viewer to quickly scan and find the desired information and most importantly, there are Spanish translations for every piece of content for the Hispanic/Latino community.
